These terms cover the use of Cliptally by a Shopify merchant. Installing the app means accepting them. Cliptally is operated by Stacklane, Thessaloniki, Greece.
What the service does
Cliptally issues one link per creator on your list. A creator opens it to claim a gift, which writes a $0 order into your store, and returns to it later to submit the URL of the post they published. You get one table showing who claimed, who posted and who was paid.
What it does not do
- It does not move money. The payment fields are a record you keep; no funds pass through Cliptally and no payouts are made.
- It does not find creators for you, and it is not a marketplace. You arrive with your own list.
- It does not message your creators. It gives you a link to send yourself.
- It cannot guarantee that a creator posts, or that a post stays online.
Your responsibilities
- You have a relationship with the creators you add, and a basis for holding their details.
- You tell your creators what you collect and why. The link page says who is asking and links to our privacy notice.
- You keep your creator links to the people they were issued for. Anyone holding a link can submit a post on that creator’s behalf, which is why reissuing one takes a single click.
Data protection
For personal data belonging to your creators and customers, you decide what is collected and why, and Cliptally processes it only on your instructions and only to provide the service. In particular:
- Personal data is never sold, never used for advertising, and never disclosed to anyone beyond the providers named in the privacy notice.
- Data is encrypted in transit, the database has no public address, access is limited to the named operator, and test data is kept separate from live data.
- Deleting a creator erases their data outright. Uninstalling the app erases everything belonging to your shop when Shopify sends the shop erasure request 48 hours later.
- Erasure and export requests arriving through Shopify’s privacy channels are handled automatically.
- You will be told without undue delay if a security incident affects your data, with what is known at the time and what is being done.
- Sub-processors are Shopify, which is your own platform, and Railway, which hosts the application and database. You will be told before another is added.
Availability and liability
The service is provided as it is, without warranty of uninterrupted availability. Cliptally is a record-keeping tool: it is not liable for a creator failing to post, for a gift not arriving, or for any loss beyond the fees paid for the service in the twelve months before a claim.
Ending it
Uninstall at any time from your Shopify admin. You can export your table before you do. Erasure follows as described above.
Changes and law
Material changes to these terms will be notified in the app before they take effect. These terms are governed by the law of Greece.
